WITNESSING

Now thanks be to God who always leads us to triumph in Christ,

and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place

(2 Corinthians 2:14).

It is tempting to try to witness to others out of gratitude to God. However, that puts the focus on me. True witnessing is a continuous, genuine, spontaneous expression of Christ’s life through me!

Stephen Olford has written: “The Lord Jesus is the only successful Soul-Winner, and it is only when He is in complete control of my life that I can hope to share in the fruits of His labors. Only as we believe in Him and allow Him to flow through us by His Spirit will men and women whom He is drawing to Himself respond.”
